Like a Pickle

i've been thinking about how awesome God is. i mean, it sounds so cheesy to say but it's true. i think people, myself especially, use extremes so much we begin to forget what they really mean. they start to look average and normal like every other expression in the english language and then we run out of ways to effectively talk about God because we've wasted all our adequate adjectives on silly things. like we say, "that ice cream was awesome!" well, it may have been really good, but AWESOME? i mean seriously? it's vanilla and sea salt.

now i am exaggerating a bit to get my point across but sometimes i get so frustrated because i talk about God like i talk about a song, or a pickle, or a relaxing day...
